UN/LEARNING Space: Artist Portfolio Workshop with Ergin Çavuşoğlu
17 May 2021 (Monday) , 6-7:30 pm
This workshop, run by Ergin Çavuşoğlu, will introduce the production of a hyperlinked artist portfolio using Adobe’s print and digital layout design desktop software InDesign. However, the creation of a print and digital PDF document could be done using other desktop and mobile platforms, such as PowerPoint, Acrobat, Word, Adobe Portfolio, and Keynote among others. It will require basic knowledge and understanding of image manipulation and text editing software. The workshop will be structured around the preparation and organisation of content, including visual and contextual materials, such as stills, video, captions, cv, bio, artist statement, and press materials.
The workshop will be in two parts. The first part will be a structured presentation. During the second part the participants will have the chance to experiment using available digital platforms, ask questions and receive direct feedback.
Note: While these workshops are free we do rely on donations in order to support our workshop leaders financially.
